I heard a rumor that Terry Ragan was looking to sell all of his apartment properties. Has anyone seen anything on that? Would that be good for the area or bad?

Tell us more. What's the name of his business? etc

The BBB lists a firm that may be associated with that person, rated F for complaints, but that's not all that unusual for property management firms in the rental business to be panned by unhappy renters.

Three years ago a child died from a fall in one of his units and the mother was later evicted.

More on his apartments is here.... and here's a ten-year old news article.

Didn't find anything flattering.

Sounds like a slumlord. Unfortunately, every city has some of those.

As for whether him selling his properties would be good or bad, per OP's question, it really depends on who buys the properties and how they decide to run them. The new owner(s) could turn them around, or continue to run them like slums.

I've been in a unit for 2 months and 5 days and i am LEAVING. 300 dollar utilities bills!? There are only 2 of us in the unit!!!! Rent supposed to be 500. ok but the money i spend on raid is mad. when the complex sprays (at least 1 time with out warning or aurthorization-which is against the law) i was killing 20 roaches a day. My husband stopped counting how many he kills a day. $700 plus per month, not to mention 125 per pet per week is crazy!!!. when i moved in I told "A" about my girls. She said it was ok. now its not. I was charged 200 dollars for one day on the rent in May. I am out of there as soon as i can find a roach free, made up utility bills kind of place. My son wont live there thats how NASTY it is.

Anyone can make a "Statement of Account" and add what ever days and dollar amounts they want on a MicroSoft Word template. Thats all i have been getting the past 2 months. No Receips tho..printing machine is always down. I have a copy of all my money orders tho.

Exclamation Terry Regan and his million dollar roaches

they have been saying hes going to sell for many many years. whoever buys the buildings are going to have millions of dollars in repairs to make and infestations to kill-if its possible.

I just moved in and about to move out. If i could pay $700 to $800 hundred a month for rent and utilities you best bet i would be in a roach free unit. (not 1 or a few but more than 20 a day!!!) There arent even locks on the windows!

(no one could show me why i owed $174 for utilities the 1st 8 days then $265.00 for 30 days-there are 2 of us in one unit)

Good luck to who ever has to go to a Regan property.

Sounds like an awful slumlord doing exactly what they do. That's a shame. His numbers for profitability from stealing from customers are going to lead to him demanding high prices that could only be justified if the buyer was also a crook.

Default Terry is Selling

Hi all,

I used to work for Terry for many of years, he is the biggest slum lord. Him company practices are not acceptable, he is charging extra utilities, and extra nickles and dimes, Iv seen these "GUEST-AMATIONS" all you have to do is ask the utility bill, and if they do not provide it you can go down to the corp. office and request it, and if they do not call the utility company and see what your specific usage is.

To answer all of your questions, he is selling, he has sold The Pinnacle to JRK property holdings, in May. They bought it for 22 Million. JRK is having to put 4.5 million into the property to fix what Terry messed up.

JRK will not be accepting Housing Assistance anymore, which is a great thing, to get the riff raff out of The Pinnacle.

Needless to say he is selling, and getting out of this business, which he has no business being in. I hope this helps.
