^ Oh lord. I lived in that vicinity before Copperhead Road opened. It was a mediocre neighborhood but a quiet one. Once that blight opened business it went downhill. What chased me out of the Rebecca Ln. and Academy neighborhood was Copperhead Road. Streets blocked off for shootings or stabbings in their parking lot, drunken brawls spilling onto Academy, a police dispatcher trying to steal a truck with a hot dog cart attached to it... The list goes on. Now I drive by and see the bouncers taking a metal detecting wand to their patrons and patting them down. Not a good sign for a drinking establishment, their clientele or the immediate neighborhood.
