My sister and her family are coming down tomorrow, and wanted to go sledding. Snow around here is pretty much gone, but I heard Meadow Wood Park in Woodland Park is a good place for sledding. For anyone who lives around there, is there any snow up in that area right now? Thanks!

I was in the area today, not enough snow for sledding.

I'll drive by tomorrow morning and post back. I doubt there's enough snow, unless it's really shaded.

EDIT: Just saw StarrySkies response. Didn't think so, gotta head to Breckenridge!

Another dry winter up here. Best bet is to head up to the Rampart Range (take Baldwin off of Hwy 24 just before McDonalds at the "Welcome to Woodland Park" sign. Baldwin becomes Rampart Range Road & splits at the water treatment facility before heading up to the National Forest. Both branches are open & dump out on Rampart Range road about 1/2 mile or so from each other. Lots of shady valleys up there where you can find enough snow for sledding. Mueller State Park south of Divide is another excellent choice.
