From reading this whole thread my conclusion is it depends on what each person is looking for & what their preferences are. I'm sure the OP & her family will do very well in COS.

As for those high taxes in MD and other places like it, they may pay for services but they also pay for a lot of unnecessary garbage.

This state has changed quite a bit since I've moved here. Thankfully, TABOR has kept the state from going full retard.
