Pikes Peak is also laid out so that it is exactly oriented with the top of Pikes Peak.

I spent 20+ years in the Springs. Back in the '70s it was nice but way overgrown now, traffic, rude drivers, etc. Very much a big city. I've also spent a lot of time in Pueblo and it would be my choice over the Springs. I'm near retirement so the better job prospects of the Springs are not a factor for me.
