I'll be visiting Palmer HS today. The google maps indicated that there is no parking for the school, and the guidance I obtained said that most visitors park on Weber street. Any clue which parking areas they would use (having the cross streets on either side would be nice), and what cost, if any, is incurred? It's a little strange to me that we have a high school with no parking, given that many seniors are old enough to drive. However, the point of this post is really just to find out where I should park.

I'd rather find out now, so I don't have to spend a long time circling the area looking for a place that I won't get towed.

Thanks

PS. This is completely unrelated to my thread about renting a rabbit.

My alma mater :-) They have parking lots for students and staff, can't remember if there is visitor parking in those lots but this map should help:

My alma mater, too. Palmer has quite a bit of parking for an "inner city" school. Hah! You probably should have posted your question in the C. Springs forum. Will your visit be on the weekend? There's usually plenty of parking near Palmer as well. On weekends I also used to park on Weber next to CC's Shove Chapel when all else failed (I think it was Weber).

There is a parking lot specifically for Palmer on N. Weber. It is directly adjacent to the girl's gym. Also, there is metered parking virtually everywhere around the school as well. I'm a plumber employed with D11. I'm at Palmer frequently. There's plenty of places to park.

When I subbed there, I was given a pass to put on my car for security!
