Hello everyone. We live in Central Texas, and this has been a particularly difficult year for cedar and mold. We have noticed that our oldest (5yr old) seems to have aggravated 'stimming' behavior during the school year. We noticed this before he was in school, so we've concluded that there is definitely something in the air that is affecting his behavior. As such, we wanted to check out a different climate and get some information.

Does anyone else here have a child on the spectrum that moved from another area and saw some improvement in their child's stimming (or any other area of concern)? I have searched the forum for thoughts on SPED at different schools, but they're several years old. I have a 5 yr old and 3 yr old, both diagnosed on the spectrum, and an 18 month old girl that is possibly leaning in the same direction.

Also, my husband is a software developer. How are tech jobs doing Colorado Springs these days?

Tech jobs in COLO SPGS are mostly defense-related and for those with a clearance some jobs can be found, else it can take a year for a full clearance to be awarded and during that time an employee is in a sort of gray status.

Most tech jobs are concentrated in the Denver Tech Center, the area in/around Boulder and along the Rte 36 corridor between Denver and Boulder.

He needs to check all the usual job websites and work the contacts on his professional network.
