We are considering a move to Colorado Springs, possible job transfer. I would like to find out if there is a lot of herbicide spraying in Colorado Springs, either by the city, department of transportation or state, and just a general mentality about chemical use by the residents. We are currently in Scottsdale, AZ, and there is constant spraying here year round. Our kids have chemical sensitivities, so it's a big problem. If anyone out there has any knowledge in this area, we would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you!

Judging by all the weeds you see around town, I'm guessing it's not a problem.

Up on the Palmer Divide where I live, and in the more rural areas, usually once or twice during the spring or summer the county comes by and sprays along the roadside here. They do it manually so they are only spraying the noxious weeds (Knapweed and Thistle mostly), instead of a blanket of spray over everything.
