I always see this one while driving 285 just past Fairplay before it heads up the pass over to Buena Vista, and think "That looks purpose-built for retirees". Check it out. Plenty of fishing around there.

That's the place I was talking about. Even though they call themselves "campground", all I've ever seen there are RVs, and most of them look permanent.

I referred earlier to the RV websites, because they are people who would be the most familiar with the places where someone could park an RV long term. I don't know of any campgrounds in Colorado that would allow long term stays with the type of RV that you are describing.

Campground of the Rockies would work for park models but I believe you need to purchase a lot and they have a monthly hoa fee.
