Hi, I'm married and have one dog and is looking for some rental horse properties in colorado. I would prefer near colorado springs. I have lived down near canon city and I won't mind driving. I have two horses I want to bring to colorado. They are currently in Iowa. I don't know where to look. I'm looking for at least 2 bedrooms and space for my dog and horses. It doesn't have to be fancy. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can start looking or who to contact to help me?

Read this thread and see if it helps.

What's your price range?

Is there a particular reason you're interested in Colo Spgs?

Meanwhile, look at ppar.com or realtor.com for properties in the area; both sites list both rentals and sale properties.

There seem to be more 'horse friendly' rentals on Craigslist, though be very wary of them as Craigslist attracts scammers. Just go the the 'apts/housing for rent' section and search for 'horses'.

Areas that you might find horse property rentals in: Black Forest, Peyton, Falcon, Calhan, Ellicott, Penrose, Elbert, anywhere out east of Colorado Springs, etc. Even some areas within Colorado Springs and Monument have horse properties.
