Good morning,

I'm looking for a company who can draw out a landscaping plan for us, but we'd do the work ourselves. We have landscaping now, but it's a small lot, and it didn't really provide for much privacy. At the same time, our neighbors have views and I want to respect that with whatever we do.

Any idea on how much such a thing would cost? We only have 7300 ft2.

Thanks!

I think that Phelan Gardens will do this. I don't have any experience with this service of theirs, but I do love their nursery and have bought plants there. Landscape Consultation

Thanks for the tip! I just called them, and it's $95 for a full, in-store consult, or $150 for them to come to your home. That seems like a good deal to me.

FYI - I just got the 'Premier Values' coupon book in the mail a few days ago and noticed an ad for Phelan Gardens which has a $30 off coupon for a 1 hour landscape design consult.

Dang, I missed the coupon!

We had our consult this evening, in the store. We took in about a hundred pictures for her to look at, which was probably overkill. But we also took in a plat map which she drew all over with good suggestions for plantings, and some hardscape ideas. We still need to draw up a final plan for the HOA, but overall, it was very much worth the money, especially not being familiar with local growing conditions.

Do you need technical specifications (for irrigation, drainage, etc.) or just an illustrated overview?
