I have to admit Barnstormers is a pretty cool neighborhood, especially since I'm a pilot! Is that an HOA neighborhood? Prices?

It does have an HOA. Fees are $90/quarterly. Prices start in the mid 200's.

One thing...

I don't know if you have kids, but if so, look at Barnstormers neighborhood over Soaring Eagles. It is commonly recommended to avoid School District 2, it's had a lot of problems over the years. Barnstormers is still Widefield District 3, the boundary is Milton Proby Pkwy.

One CAN choose to enroll a child in a different district than where one is geographically assigned, however, boundary waiver/school choice students can end up on waiting lists for the better schools AND require transportation by the parents. So it's generally easier to simply live in a district that is acceptable.

Even if you don't have kids, it's worth being aware of, if for no other reason than eventual property value considerations, I should think. Just FYI.
