Hey guys (and gals),

I love sourdough bread. In some cities, you can find good sourdough bread at the grocery stores. However, Walmart's is mediocre and Sam's club doesn't carry any. I have tried the Costco sourdough and it is very good, but I don't want to go to a membership store for one kind of bread. So, what bakeries do we have within a few miles of Powers and Woodmen? Anywhere that you have tried the sourdough? I'm fine with discount bakeries or full price bakeries, so long as the quality of the bread makes it a reasonable value.

Marigolds (near centennial and garden of the gods) has awesome baguettes, but I think they only have wheat and white, not sourdough.

Panera, Whole Foods?

I've been looking for a whole wheat sourdough bread. I had a good one when I was visiting in Oregon.

I just saw a reference to a new bakery called Sourdough Boulangerie. Its near downtown I think. I have not been there and I don't have a link I can post right now but if you search for the name you will find it.

Have you tried King Soopers and Safeway? They've been baking bread a long time in-house.
