with 4 wheel drive ,all season tires, will i be ok driving from louisiana to el paso, then to sante fe ,then to colorado springs ,as my daughter is coming back from iraq. please advise on what i will exspect driving in the snow with my vehicle. thanks to all and merry christmas.

Are you asking us to tell you the weather will be (on a date that wasn't in the post) and how that will affect your drive?

The roads might be fine, they might not. Road conditions in winter can change hour by hour and mile by mile. You have a vehicle that is fairly well-equipped to handle adverse winter driving conditions, but that may mean little if your own driving skills and experience aren't up to the task. One's driving ability and judgement is the most important factor in driving in adverse conditions--it trumps everything else.

I'm leaving on dec.19 will be in colorado on the 21st, sorry i didn't post that info, just a little nervous about driving in snowy conditions, i hope i have the right vehicle to help me in my driving decisions, thanks for the info.
