Default Young Couple Moving of Colorado Springs

My husband and I have been married for almost two years. We live in Southern California and are looking to move to the Colorado Springs area. Are there any areas/ neighborhoods that you recommend for a young couple looking to start a family? I've heard that School District #20 is the best.

Colorado Springs has a lot of really good school districts. For as long as I can remember, Cheyenne Mountain District 12 has been considered the best. But a lot depends upon what you want: diverse population? small-town atmosphere? highest graduation rates? You might take a look at the Great Schools Web site. Even Colorado Springs most gargantuan district, District 11, is pretty good, with some outstanding schools. There are a few others that are not quite so good, but you'll see for yourself at Greatschools.
(Full disclosure - my kids didn't go to either of the districts I cited).

Kat1016 -Are you looking to live in the foothills? Do you want land? In the middle of the City? Also price range is critical too. SHEP
