Default Safe & Family Friendly area of CS

My family and I are planning to move to Colorado Springs from Las Vegas within the next month. Can someone please tell me where there are good schools, family friendly & safe places for kids to grow up with other kids. I plan on renting for a year as I will still own my home in Vegas.

Thanks

All over the place.

Are you a safe, well educated, friendly person?

What research have you already performed?

What is your rental budget?
What line of work are you in?
Where are you going to work?
Why do you want to move to Colorado Springs?

I am safe & well educated. I find myself friendly...I try to talk to all my neighbors...but if you know anything about Vegas one day they are there the next they are gone.

What research have you already performed?

Well not much on CS, I have been doing in interviews in Denver...looking to move to the the Hghlands Ranch area

What is your rental budget?

1295 - 1400
What line of work are you in?

I am in IT

Where are you going to work?

Still interviewing but regardless moving to CS...right now its with Intellidyne.

Why do you want to move to Colorado Springs?

I have family all over Colorado plus I am sick of the 120 degree weather and the lifestyle of Vegas. I am raising a 3 year old who is in Private School because the schools are so bad and another one who will be here Feb 14th.

I can't really help you in pointing you to a "safe" place in CS, but I did notice you are moving to CS from Vegas soon and wanted to say hello because my family is doing the exact same thing! From what research I have done, I have noticed we are in for a nice change; it sounds like a great place to raise a family. I am excited to soon be out of Vegas! I hope you and your family have a safe move.
