I think rising rents may eventually drive home prices up as well. The newer units rent for $1200 per month; that's a mortgage payment.

I would love to see some new modern mid rise apartment towers in the downtown area.

Supply and demand; low vacancy will always drive costs up; same scenario with even hotel rooms!
