new townhouses (Colorado Springs, Woodmoor, Monument: movie theater, YMCA, construction)

Has anyone seen these being built and are they in a good area?.

I normally wouldn't be looking up that way, but being that these would be less than 15 minutes of a commute from my work, it's a consideration. Thanks.

Very good area. Very safe.

It is in the southern section of Monument, a block from Lewis Palmer High School. Since you would be just east of the high school you wouldn't experience any high school traffic or noise. Most traffic to/from the high school would be traveling north and south. You would hear the football games though next fall. Since it is near the high school, the roads are high priority for snow removal trucks.

There is a brand new YMCA set to open in a couple of months across the street (west) from the high school. Two blocks up Higby and you are in the treed areas maybe two miles from beautiful Fox Run Park.

Everywhere around there is being built up with new retail and services. The construction is so new a lot of it isn't on the internet yet: Kohls, Home Depot, Sooper Kings, Walmart, Staples (or something like that, I forgot), Petsmart, Rotellis, Chilis, Carls Jr, those types of stores are already there a few blocks away. A couple blocks south at the Baptist/I-25 intersection huge retail (the Timbers??) including two movie theater complexes are going to be built.
