[ MOD EDIT: Note that this thread is only for comments about the Colorado Springs / Old Colorado City Photo Tour, which is a long download for anyone on a modem or even for some with higher speeds. So we've split the comments into a separate thread for easier loading/viewing. If anyone wants to add more pix, put them in a new thread and the moderator will merge new photo posts into the photo tour thread. Thank you. ]
Well, nice, you are going to wear yourself out. I like the picture of the church. Yea, so what, non-religious can appreciate beautiful buildings. ![]() You are also guilty of attracting more people to this area. So, I am going to say that these pictures are doctored and not real--the place is a dump. ![]() Livecontent Last edited by Mike from back east; 01-19-2008 at 04:50 PM. |

Averie-Jay,
What is the web address to all of your Colorado Springs pictures? I am asking so that people like me that totally miss Colorado Springs can see them and go back there in pictures. Thanks, your pictures bring back memories and re-new my need and urge to go back to Colorado Springs. |

PhotogAJ - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting The subfolders are listed on the top left. Most don't have titles because I simply haven't had the time, but I hope you enjoy. And perhaps because you're from CO Springs you can explain the Bimbo truck?? ![]() |

![]() Averie-Jay's photo, on I-25 Southbound at MP-160 near the truck scale on Monument Hill, CO. Bimbo Bakeries operates out of Texas. Their trucks remind me of the paint scheme for Wonder Bread, but its actually a European firm. See: Bimbo Bakeries BTW: Do you mind if I edit your O.P. to add captions? |

Sorry, I have never heard of or seen the Bimbo truck. I am not from Colorado Springs, but I was stationed at Ft. Carson (1996-2000), while I was in the ARMY.
I was born in Panama City, Florida and grew up in the Southern Tier area of NY state. Now I want to live in Colorado Springs, CO. Talk about across the U.S. |

Hmm...and I'd been under the impression that Bimbo Bakeries had something more than buns they were baking! How disappointing!Yes, add captions to your heart's content. I'm really not good at that part, I'm afraid. I just snap away w/ excitement. My apologies. ![]() |

Could someone please make this thread Sticky, so it is at the top of the threads and easier to find? I check this thread out every time I am on. I check for any new city pics of Colorado Springs. I have used some of the pics I found here as my laptop's wallpaper. Thanks
[ Mod note: Thread now Sticky. Links added at bottom of the O.P. to link people to more COL SPGS photo threads.] Last edited by Mike from back east; 11-16-2007 at 11:18 AM. Reason: Add a mod note. |
