Holy cow I am super excited about this store opening here. It's going in the old Circuit City on Powers and Barnes.

They use to be more of an online store with a few brick and mortars around the West. (Cheyenne, Boise, Reno) Then TJ Maxx bought them and they're starting to open more stores. Luckily we're getting one. I've been to the flagship store in Cheyenne and a new one in Greenwood Village in the South area of Denver. It's an outdoor enthusiasts/bargain hunters dream. They mainly sell closeouts and seconds for a very fair price. But to truly take advantage of their deals, you have to sign up for their daily emails. Through the email specials you can almost always find a better deal. And since we're getting a local store, you can have anything shipped to the store for free.

I've saved a lot of money shopping there. I typically spend around 40-50% off retail for brand new items. And I'm talking top brand names. Mountain Hardware, Columbia, Teva, Keen, Exofficio, Merrell, etc. Biking gear, skiing gear, even good bargains on household stuff.

I swear I'm not being paid to say this, heh.

That's stuff I would be interested in. When do they open?

I'm not sure. Wifey saw a billboard near that area and told me about it. I did see they are hiring, so my guess is fairly soon.

I know you like to hike. I bet you fall in love with this place!

I used to get all my hiking boots at STP - great prices on very good brands. My niece worked at the one in Cheyenne for awhile - with her employee discount she got some amazing deals. There are good buys on their website as well.
