I hope not!

I've posted in a few other cities in C-D, inquiring about this criminal activity (and expensive-to-remove eyesore).

In Boston, I think many visitors find it clean overall in terms of litter. I'm sure they don't notice graffiti on those gray/silver electric boxes on street corners (proliferating AND larger in size than ever, it seems?). Well, they likely don't drive the Mass Pike Extension (I-90) or Storrow Drive, as well as Rt. 93 and Rt. 128 and see graffiti on mainly unrelated structures in the adjacent area, or on signs of varying sizes & shapes. The Mass Pike Extension from Allston to the Prudential Center seemed to have finally been cleaned up along the railtracks in view of the Pike, after many years, but now a new round of brash and bold shapes has taken form. Well, it is colorful and interesting to some, no?

Sorry about the details on Boston...

Does one find much graffiti on stop signs, electirc boxes and those ubiquitous blue or green mail deposit boxes in COS? If so, are volunteers allowed to clean it up? In Boston, I called GraffitiBusters 10 yrs. ago (part of city hall) and was told my volunteer aspirations would only get in the way! And yet, nice brick buildings continue to get hit. Riding the subway offers an ugly view of a graffiti-infested Boston landscape. A few attempts have been made to clean small areas of it, but it's slapped back up in no time. You'll even find some graffiti around Fenway Park.

I know we face more pressing urban problems than graffiti, but I notice this more than I'd notice landscaping or flower boxes..

We don't have too many of those mail boxes. I don't see much graffiti in those particular places you mention. I see it rather on concrete on underpasses or on wood fences, mainly - but not everywhere. If it is on private property of course you can remove it yourself. About the other stuff, I don't know what the procedures are.

Having lived here just since early June, and having driven around lots of areas in the city and suburbs, I can't say that I've noticed much graffiti. Certainly not to the extent we used to see it in the Washington, D.C. suburbs.

I'm the OP from this very old post.

Is Colorado Sorngs still relatively graffiti free?

I've read here that potholes are a major issue; if the potholes are often neglected, I couldn't expect graffiti abatement to be a priority.

There is graffiti here and there but not a whole lot - it isn't 'everywhere'.
