iam living in Berlin germany right now.
i think CS is a all american town not to big not to small, nice, i like that.
but what about all the airfields? what is the air quality like over there and what about the noise? are there a lot of jets flying around, all the time ???

Well, the air quality is great here in the Springs. However, we do have the military bases and an airport here, so we do have planes flying over alot. Depending where you live in the City decides how much you hear it. People that live off of Powers and hear a lot more then people that live close to the mountains, gleneagle, monument or dowtown. I am not fond of planes flying over my house, but I have gotten use to it and don't think much of it. My husband who was a military brat, loves the sound of the planes. So, just depends on your preference. bashep

Not much airplane noise up here in the Briargate area, zip 80920. I can see the USAF Academy from my deck and each May at graduation time the USAF Thunderbirds put on a show, and THAT is a beautiful noise indeed.

Also get a flyover at USAF Football games, nothing like being there when a B-1 flies over and REALLY rocks your world.....and you can get tickets to the games VERY easy too, and affordable....

There is a SMALL airstrip at the USAF Academy but we can't even hear the prop jobs used there for teaching flight, towing gliders up or taking skydivers up for a jump.....there is a "scenic" pullover on southbound I-25 near between exits 153 and 151 for people to watch the gliders and skydivers.

You're gonna love Colorado. s/mike
