Sorry, I'm not laughing. Nor are any of my family or friends, or anyone I know.

You are not looking at the blogs in the Denver Post then.

Probably the Trolls

I do not think anyone is "laughing" at the victims, but we sure do attract a lot of "those people" here.

True, I'm not. Without knowing more, I know this strikes at the heart of Colorado. This hit all of us, of all beliefs, together at the same place, at the hands of a crazy.

I know one of the police officers who was on that call. What a terrible day. Thing is, anymore this kind of thing is happening everywhere - okay so Colorado Springs had this but Littleton had Columbine, Aurora had the theater shooting - all over the country this kind of thing seems to be becoming common - which is pretty darned horrible.

the gun violence / insecure male / troubled teens with guns is a bigger CO problem than COS, or any one religion / cause.

Look a little deeper into what has been happening in CO for over 30 yrs. (insecurity / change (much of it not for the better)).

Take a research trip through the events, these perpetrators have obvious similarities that CO society is not addressing. (Nor is USA in general). There are many events in CO that amplify the feelings to trigger the violence. As a society, we best open our minds (unlike this thread) to result in defensive / proactive actions. (Remember, the recent OR college event was from someone who recently moved to OR and never chose to 'adapt'.)

There is much opportunity to bring more 'security' to the norm and the abnorm. (not to be confused / implied that it requires gun control) 'People control' and building relationships can suffice.

Listen to your neighbors and friends, YOU will (can) bring some hope and mental wellness to your community.
