Today is the official day. Movers came yesterday and got the rest of our stuff in albuquerque. We are getting on the road soon with 2 kids and 4 doodles to start our new adventure in Colorado Springs. Nervous about a lot still but you all have helped with answering the many questions I've thrown your way. I'm sure I will be in here frequently as a new resident.
Hope you all are well. By tonight we will be "home".
Thanks for everything.

Weather has been in the low 60s for a few days, roads are clean and dry. Should be an easy drive. No coat needed to walk around today.

We are up far, far north part of CoS. We couldn't have asked for a better day to move. It was beautiful. Roads were dry except our residential street that was half dry and half slushy snow which is pretty amazing. The dogs (labradoodles) were so thrilled with their 2/3 acre of fenced in wooded land. They couldn't believe it. They are all relaxing in the den now. Kids did great probably because we've been up here so much and they are getting use to their rooms. The uhaul truck that we brought up last weekend and got stuck on our street due to the snow is finally returned. Neighbors are happy again. Lots to learn still but for now the kids are in bed and hubby and I are enjoying a glass of wine, thankful we had the courage to make a necessary change for our family.
