I was born in COS, and lived there until I was 10, then my parents got a divorce, and I was forced to move back to Ohio with my mother. I've been here for the last 20 years, and i've had enough. I found a good job in the springs,a nd i'm moving back in 3 weeks.

Ryan,

Congrats again on your moving back home!! YAY!!

Has it changed a lot to you, or have you been back to visit and knew about the changes in 20 years??

I'm sure glad you have found a good job and can finally be where you love!

My dad still lives there, so i've been back quite a bit , so I've seen all the changes over the last 20 years. I'm excited, although I will miss my family here in Ohio.

For me I love both Cleveland and Colorado Springs.I can never make up my mind between which one I want to eventually just settle down in.I lived in Cleveland for most of my life.I like it alot there. Most of my family is there.I've lived in COS for the past three years.I like it here alot too.I wish there was a way I could live in both places.I love both places about equally,Cleveland a little bit more because I was born there.

Moving from Maryland where the liberals are passing new taxes on a weekly basis. We're going to save a ton of money living in Colorado compared to here. Half the houses in the state of Maryland are up for sale by people wanting to move out.

Default Moving soon

Born and raised in Phoenix AZ i love everything about colorado Springs.
its so much more laid back than phoenix. it seems in phoenix every thing is moving so fast and crime is horrible where i am and after losing a brother to crime i have to get away to some where alot better.
my wife is also from colorado springs so we always go there and dont want to leave. so i said lets just move there. and now we will be pretty soon.
I hope i can get in to the fire department there because that would be great to.

Love the weather too. cant stand a avg temp in the summer of 117 no more.

My mom is a native to Texas and spent her first years in Colorado in Eagle, then moved down to the Springs. As for me, I've lived here my whole life.

I was born and raised in Northern Virginia (Manassas). I moved to San Diego when I was 25 and lived there for about 7 years. It was great until I had my first child and the communting to work sucked. The cost of living was terrible. My sister has lived in Colorado Springs for the last 11 years and had loved it so we made the move here 3 years ago and we love it. Sure I miss the San Diego weather and the beach, but I don't miss the crowded freeways and the cost of a 1000 square foot 1960s home. The snow isn't that bad, and I'm somewhat used to it being from the east coast. My husband on the other hand is a native Californian and he misses it but really enjoys Colorado as well.
