Hey all! ive tried everything! kitty litter chomp wd40 etc nothing is working, just lightens it up

was wondering if any of you guys in COS hired a professional power wash company to remove oil stains that is old?

or once oil stain is set, its there for good and impossible to remove?

I just want it to be BARELY visible upclose at a stand up distance. It lighten up a bit, but still can see it from across the nighbors street.

am i wasting my time at this point, or is it actually still possible? Any pro washing company in COS that handles this?

I've heard coca-cola (NOT diet coke) poured on the stains will work (!).

I have seen a special driveway oil stain remover also: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Clorox-Pr...&wl13=&veh=sem

Probably have to check out the yellow pages (what are THOSE?) or maybe Craigslist for someone that will power wash the stains.

Try the simple DIY stuff first!

In my experience, kitty litter ground into the oil spot only works on spills that are fairly new, like less than a week old. If yours are years old, you have a more difficult problem to address.

Oil soaks into the pores of the concrete, so I doubt a power washer would do much to remove it although it may damage the surface layer. These guys may have some suggestions and links to item that may work.

nothing yet still can see the oil stains. they are a lot lighter, but you can still see the dark spots. I think there is nothing we can do to 100% clear the stains
