Let's say you'd like to show them some good food..or you want to impress them
with how 'cool and hip' CS is...can you name some places?
They could be your grandparents or young friends...what would be the different places?
Thanks
There are so many great places...I'd love to hear about some I've never been to.

I did a search and didn't see a thread here like this.

Now that I'm on the north side, I've been hearing a lot of things about The Till. I haven't tried it yet. I hear it has a beautiful design and concept but food quality can be hit or miss.

I think if I were trying to win over a hipster, I'd either go for Shuga's or one of the microbreweries that host food trucks like Goat Patch.

We used to love the Warehouse, but I think the chef changed. We haven't been back yet. Phantom Canyon is so much the standard, "casual Colorado brewery" that would be a good one too for visitors, too.

My younger relatives liked Ivywild School when they were here last summer.

If you like Mexican, I would recommend Salsa Brava...there are 2 now.
It's a chain, but I like Cheddars on the north end.

The Rabbit Hole is for 'adventurous' eaters - while I am okay with it I know it is not for most of my family. My family from out of town has responded quite well to the Carlos Miguel's near the Cheyenne Mountain Conference Resort.

Ah yes I have to also include the demographic that thinks Italian food is exotic.

Great thread you started here, Miss Hepburn! I am "taking notes" for when I move to the Springs next September! When I visit my son, daughter in law and grandson in Castle Rock, I've enjoyed going to 105 West Brewing Company on food truck night when they had the blue grass duo, Follow the Fox, playing! Nothing like craft brews, food truck food and blue grass!

Yeah my family is not that bad, but they do find things like "Escargot skewers", "Gold and Purple Beet Salad", and "Bacon-wrapped Rabbit Meatloaf" to be rather out there. Some people get excited by a menu like that and other people get turned off by it. To me, it is kind of 'meh' although that beet salad sounds good to me - but when I ate there I just didn't love anything I had and thought the atmosphere was a little weird and dark - another thing that I am sure some people will love and others won't.

Not a true 'chain', per se. It's just Randy's unless he sold it.
Thanks
