Hello to all CO Springs locals. My husband is stationed in Fort Carson. Him and I live in our little camper and I need to haul it from SC to CO. Does anyone know a little mom and pop RV park that will allow our 19 foot 1979 Camper for long term stay? In or near CO springs is best, thank you

The Colorado Springs South KOA in Fountain is very close to Fort Carson. Here's a map link to many more area campgrounds.

There are numerous campgrounds in western Colorado Springs, south along highway 115, and adjacent to I-25 that have extended rental campers in them. Golden Eagle, Goldfield, Fountain Creek, Fountain KOA are all possibilities. No experience staying in any of them, but I'd check in and see what they offer for water, sewer, laundry, etc. and then decide which side of the base and how close to local amenities you want to be.

You’ll need to winterize your camper too.
