Depends on the time of day as you well know and how many accidents there are at any given time. This was as recent as 8 months ago. He would leave at 630 to avoid some of the craziness. If you are leaving between 730-830, plan on an hour. He is now self employed mainly because the commute was not worth it! I agree that it has only gotten worse and will continue to get worse with the proposed freeway study. I often take 105 or 83 if Iím going north just to make the drive more peaceful.

Loads of people move to Monument for the small town living. So many that I wonder when it won't be a small town anymore! I see it as a suburb of Colorado Springs/ bedroom community of Denver.

I agree. It may have been a separate small town at one point. Now I see it as just part of sprawl.

I have lived in Monument for the last 6 years and love it! Schools are good and there really isn't any bad areas so to speak. I have kids in 9th and 11th grad and they have attended both the public schools and the local charter school, Monument Academy. I sent you a PM. Feel free to reach out and I would be happy to answer questions and fill you in on our town. Also, my husband has commuted from here to Littleton for the last 3 years so I can answer questions about that as well, if you are looking at commuting.
