Default District 49 reviews/ new schools?

we are looking at house that we like. Its on the border of district 20 (which we'd love to get in district 20).. The elementary school for district 49 for the house we are looking at is Meridian ranch and seems to have some good parent reviews .. Falcon middle is the middle school though we have 3 years+ from now till my oldest will be in middle school.. and Falcon high is the highschool.

Anyway.. I've heard from my realtor that there are plans for a new highschool in this area. not sure about any new middleschools.. With the growth around I'd think that more schools would have to happen soon..

Any one know anything of late on what's going on with district 49?

Thanks for any info/help

Falcon School District 49

Search through the website for things such as the new district attendance zoning maps, information on using the choice program to get into particular schools and alternative schools (like charter schools) available. The new high school is called Vista Ridge and will be opening in the fall. It will mainly take kids away from the currently overcrowded Sand Creek High School. The way the zoning was set up, no one slated for Falcon High changed assigned schools.

I am pretty sure you can attend D20 if you want to. My neighbor's kids attend D20 schools and we are in D38.
