Hello all, apologize if this is the incorrect place to post....long story short, I hired someone for remodel; like a retard, I paid him in full

issue is, most of this is a verbal agreement other than statements from bank accounts of me withdrawing cash. And text message stating i paid him this or that to him.

I want to take him to small claims in COS, but not sure if its enough. Also, what would be the cost if I were to lose here?

And if I win, what damages can I do to him? benefits, house, etc
