There's a disconnect in your thought process. Not saying Obama was the black community's savior, but it would seem a failure to explicitly condemn white supremacists will have more to do with blacks hating Trump than any of his policies.

Probably a Friends / Quaker church, if there is one around. They've traditionally been the most against the power-hungry, judgmental, racist, and corrupt elements of Christianity.

They're not even far-left (that might be Unitarian or something); they're just basic, middle of the road, and no-nonsense. They probably wouldn't advertise themselves as "anti-Trump". They'd be stronger and broader than that, and not into labels and name-calling. I'd think they would see problems with both parties, Washington, and the whole political system / zoo as it now exists.

I can't see why they wouldn't exist in COS. They're not religious or preachy. They're probably the most sensible and reasonable of Christian churches.

Wow, you guys, is that a direct teaching from Jesus? My bible has red letters that say to love everyone, help those that need it, .......

Good luck OP. Maybe you can immerse yourself in the anti T church and help them correct the error of their ways, as you see it.

Jesus went into the Temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the stools of those who sold pigeons, and said to them, “It is written in the Scriptures that God said, ‘My Temple will be called a house of prayer.’ But you are making it a hideout for thieves!” Matthew 21:12-17

Sounds pretty liberal to me

Due to the mess in churches these days, there is a lot of room for criticism, and calls for house-cleaning. Those on the defensive might just be protecting the guilty, or are completely naive and blind. Either way, they need to get on the side of solutions (not furthering the problems).

FWIW, we've had other requests in this forum with people asking for suggestions for churches of various flavors, and I see nothing wrong with the OP -- a newbie to our city -- asking for help in finding like-minded people to socialize with, whatever their particular religious beliefs or other opinions might be. I suggest that folks who want only to attack the OP's opinions (again, whatever they might be) do it in the politics forum, or (better yet) just keep their mouths shut, as such discussions only create heat and not light.
I don't like Trump either, but organizing regular socializing re a group that shares a common disdain for a President seems extreme to me.

Perhaps, as an agnostic, I just don't understand/get it.

And yet, that has gone on since the beginning of our country, taking many different forms over time. Nothing new. Part of freedom and liberty...

This is a very useful/interesting map of how each precinct in the country voted. In Colorado Springs, there are several of the more urban areas that went Democrat even though overall the city and county are Republican dominant. One could use this map for a variety of reasons including searching for a church one likes. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...8719/-104.7736
