Haven't had school closed recently for cold. Around 8 years ago windchill was -40F.

I'm hopeful for a more normal winter. Supposedly, that's what's forecasted, a more normal winter, which may mean people think it's super snowy.

LOL @ people moving here for no snow.

Yea. If anything, our weather is HIGHLY variable. Sure you can wear flip flops in February, but you may very well be digging out of 3' of snow for Easter.

I believe a freak snow storm almost prevented the AFA from being built here when some Air Force brass couldn't get to town to visit the proposed site.
