We're not Christmas people (different religion) and we traditionally go out to eat and to a movie on Christmas Day. I know a few Asian restaurants that will be open up in the Denver area, but I'd rather not drive all the way up there on my day off.

Does anyone know of restaurants that will be open on Christmas Day?

Thanks!

JB

I saw something online saying that The Waffle House will be open 24 hours and that The Airplane Restaurant is open 11-3. I'd suggest you call to verify.

Lots of suggestions in that link TCHP posted. If you want to do a little drive, I believe there are probably a few Christmas buffets happening in Cripple Creek.

There's also that movie theater in Woodland Park, so you could get your movie in on the way up or down.

Thanks. I hadn't seen the other post. They're looking for fine dining, while we're all about street food, but we'll find something I'm sure.

Happy Holidays.

On Christmas if we're traveling, hungry and on vacation, we look for an Indian or Chinese restaurant. They are usually open.
