My budget billing just went up from $180/month to $240. This comes from the water ($20/month) and gas ($40/month) when compared to the bill one year ago; the usage is the same. Water prices will always be increasing in Colorado in the future. I don't really see the reason for the drastic price increase in NG, however - while prices have been going up (and down) this winter, the price wasn't ever more than 25% or so above the rolling average.

Mine, it turns out, was mostly due to this winter being considerably colder than the last two.
