Just a reminder that this is coming up in a few days. Still not sure about the exact time, so I'll be there around 10am to just hang out. If you see a guy with a big camera and a tan lifted grand cherokee Jeep, stop on by and say hello!

However, when the show starts, I shoot with two cameras and I might not be the biggest conversationalist.

Where will you be? The dirt field/right of way that runs along the freeway on the north side of Interquest?

What time? 11:20 AM?

I'd like to bring my kids.

Thanks to Brill for the schedule. I'll be there around 11:00am since I know that sometimes things just may not go right and on schedule.

I'll be there, the dirt field agains the east side of I25 a couple hundred yards north of Interquest.

If you got them, bring a chair or tailgate. I usually tailgate off the backside of my jeep until the show starts, then you'll be standing watching them zip around you 360 degrees.

This is what my Jeep looks like:

Default Just heard one go by

About 11:30 this morning we heard that unmistakable sound . . .

In addition to the dirt lots, there is now the Hollywood Theaters lot on the north side of Interquest, straight across from Falcon Stadium and right on I-25. Should be tons of parking there for the show.

Do you access this area from the east (head west from New Life and Voyager), or from the south (Interquest) or from the north (Middle Creek Parkway)? Is the football stadium the focus of the show, meaning, is that where everyone including President Bush will be?

Coming from Larkspur, taking I25 south, I get off at interquest, go down a little ways and hang a u-turn, then there's an access dirt road that's almost like a sidewalk on the right that will lead you down into the field. 2WD vehicles are fine there as well.

The stadium is the "center point" of the air show, so everything they do will be focused on the stadium and this field is dead center. Not sure about the movie theater area though, I think that might have power lines in the view. Everyone will be in the stadium, where Bush is, I don't know, don't care.

Well, I thought it was today but didn't hear the planes so what do I know?

If I am up to it, I will certainly be there.

Swampy I'd like to PM you with my phone if you want to call me so I can find you so I don't go alone. Your camera is loads better than mine but I would love to join you and your spouse for this...besides, I wanna see your equipment (camera that is people) But I have new batteries somewhere so we can add to the Colorado Photo Thread! Anyhow, Wednesday, I think I can do it.

Ahh, you can do it. Just stand up and put one foot in front of the other. It's easy. No one's going to bite you or anything.

I'll give you a call Wednesday morning a few hours before I leave (I'll probably leave my house at 10:30 to get there at 11am).

Just to get you guys excited, they started practicing around 8am this morning, doing 180 turns right at my house. It's really foggy and cloudy here, so pics aren't that good. :|
