Default Gated Apartments

Hey all. The lease isn't up on my apartment until the end of August, but I don't think it's too early to begin my search for a new place. When we first moved here, we weren't too picky as to where we lived, as long as it was decent and safe. I forgot how much I despised apartment shopping. That's were I need help. I'm looking for a 2 bedroom apartmentin a fairly nice part of town(We're in the southeast now.) One thing that would be nice is a washer and dryer in the place and also a gated community. I was wondering if anyone knew of any cheaper gated properties, budget is $600. Unfortunately were both students and can't go higher right now. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I guess you are asking about it?

I haven't seen it but it's across the street (looking at the map) from my old high school, Cheyenne Mtn. It's a nice area, the homes below and just north were built around the 50s, 60s and 70s. south and west were mostly built in the early-mid 1900s. It's a quick trip to The Broadmoor Hotel.

The drive to downtown is pretty quick, there's fast food, shopping and such on 8th street. Getting to I-25 is pretty easy (couple of easy routes).

There's the Broadmoor Town Center which has some big box retailers like Home Depot (IIRC), Sears, Barnes and Noble...there are some great restaurants in the area and of course, as I mentioned, downtown which has some good restaurants is easy to get to.

Hope that helps.
