Default youthful apartment living?

Is than area of town that would be enjoyable for a 24 year old male to live? I am hopefully taking a job over the summer and plan to rent for a couple years or more. Is there any area of town that would be more youthful, artsy, and semi-liberal?

While I do recognize the humor in that response, is there truly a lack of such housing elsewhere?

You might like Manitou Springs.

Yes, the only artsy area is Manitou Springs. However, you may try renting a room by Colorado College. Our town isn't big into art, unfortunately. We don't have a centralized location of young adults, they are spread out all over town in apartments and renting/sharing houses. I think you will have to try it and see.
