Question water hard or soft in cos??

can anyone tell me what the water is like in cos? i've found charts that say the water is way beyond hard, but then i've also read that it was pretty soft on other sites...... which is it?
(i know the difference between hard and soft; the amount of calcium and magnesium. 60mg/l or lower is soft, 60-120 is moderatley hard, 120+ is extremely hard. hard ruins hair, skin, pipes, appliances, clothing, etc. soft water reduces amount of soap scum, amount of soap/cleaners needed, easy on appliances, pipes, but adds sodium to water).
so, ok 20 minutes later, lol, is it hard water or soft water for col. springs?
