Question Drop in childcare recommendations?

I have to travel for a few days out of state, hubby is working, and we just moved here and the only friends we have are going on a long road trip. Looking for a great, fully licensed, SECURE & SAFE childcare facility for at least part-time days, just while I'm gone (two days). Any suggestions? Briargate or north would be good (we're in Flying Horse), incl. Monument, or in the 80919 area code (where my husband works), can work, too.

Thanks so much!!!!!

I have heard there is a place on Research and Lexington in the Safeway strip mall. One of my neighbors takes her son there and she says it is great. She doesn't leave her children w/ just anyway either.

I believe the place that bashep above is referring to is called The Children's Playroom. It's in the new shopping center on Union and Research. There is an Albertsons in the shopping center.

Depending on availability, most child care centers in the area will take your child for a few days. You may want to check with Kindercare on Flying W (by Walgreens) or Hope Montessori in Chuckwagon (both are in 80919).

I'd check out The Children's Playroom at Research and Union. It's amazing! I think their website is www.thechildrensplayroom.net. Or their phone is 522-2320. I take my 14 month old daughter there several times a week.
