Anyone up for a Sky Sox game?
I always watch KOAA as I love their afternoon line up.
Anyhow they had an advertisement where it's $8 to get in and 50 cent hot dogs come Sunday. I called them and will be calling back tomorrow to see if they have the $5 seats available. This woudl mean to bring a blanket and be beyond the actual seats but surely that is not a bad thing.
So, is anyone up for it? It may be hot and I hate hot but have sunscreen.
I posted this over on Live Journal as well so if anyone is up for it, I hope to get a good group of people to meet up at the Sky Sox game on Sunday.
Anyone game?

Okay, one thing I over looked is that the game starts at 1:05 pm.
I will let you know if I can figure out the $5 per come tomorrow. But yeah, anyone and everyone is welcome!

COFlower - Great idea - I wondered if anyone on this forum ever got together to meet - I'm the quiet mouse that gathers all the great advice and information from all of you. What a great bunch of people - so willing to share their knowledge. Anyway - have a great time at your game and when I finally make it there (sorry, folks, one more newbie - retired, respectful of your great state) I hope there are other meetings!!

Anyone is welcome. I don't care if you are purple with a clubbed foot or green with a head the size of a watermelon. If anyone wants to go to the game with me, I am all for it.
Not sure how early we can gather but I drive a red Honda (old) Accord with a bumper sticker that says "Got Head?" on it. It's not what you think, it's my favorite band Big Head Todd and the Monsters - bigheadtodd.com Not sure what I will be wearing just yet but I may be wearing my big old tshirt meant for a Pink Floyd concert with elephants on it.
I never did go to the Pink Floyd concert as I had a huge window and door order being delivered. I still have that tshirt and it's fun.
As for MN2CO this is not a common thing but I just decided I need to get out of the house and if you were here, you could join us. Everyone is welcome. I hope I can get Mike there as I would love to meet him and his bride. He's been such a great fixture of our boards....
So, all of you are more than welcome, even those of you from Denver. You can see your Rockies up and coming players in a game in a smaller city. We wont bite you, I promise. The stadium is on the north end of town, just off Powers so it's an easy drive.

Thank goodness I called them today. Wrinkle in the plan. They charge $5 PER CAR to park there. So, if anyone wants to be a clown and climb into one vehicle I have a couple of choices but there is the liquor store (who I sort of work for) near there to meet up. We climb into one person's car, split the $5 and get in for $5 each.
Who wants to be a clown and join me? I will get you the address if you PM me and we can go from there.

I am sad! I won't be in COS until the 1st!!! I might cry a little. Everyone has given me so much advice on moving here, I'd love to meet you all! I hope if this endevour goes well, then we all can meet again, and this time I can go too! Jeez, I feel like the girl that got grounded and can't go to them prom....  |

Eh, IDK. I went to a Sky Sox game for my company picnic and wasn't very impressed with the stadium or the team.
