Goat in need of temporary housing
Thanks for the tidbits of info on the other thread about neighborhoods that allow goats. We'll be in town this week to start the footwork. I should have asked this first: does anyone know someone who would be willing to take care of "Patsy" the goat while we are living in a coporate apartment? I would pay, of course. She is not currently lactating.

HA, yeah, I'd love to keep her in my backyard. That would keep my Border Collie busy for endless hours.

Yeah, well it's wishful thinking. I live at Dublin and Academy, so it's kinda out of the question, but man, would my dog love that.
He's a herding dog, and i've had him on sheep before, and he kept at it for 8 solid hours.

There is a ranch in Ftn that takes care of animals like that. I don't remember the name of it but I do remember how to get to it. It is by Eagleside Elementary...when I get that way again, I will look at the number and name of the ranch.

I have a big freezer that will keep a whole side of beef...no reason a whole goat wouldn't fit. But please make sure everything's wrapped in brown freezer paper so I don't confuse it with my saturday sirloin.
