Since Pueblo does not have it's own sub-forum, I'd say discussion threads for that area are best made in here and on the main CO page. I've been thinking for some time of suggesting the addition of Pueblo forum though...

Suggestions for new forums are made in the "About the Forum" page, found at the bottom of the main menu.
Until such time as the site owner decides there is sufficient need for a Pueblo forum, the location for Pueblo topics is the main Colorado forum, not this COLO SGPS forum. The owner has a numerical criteria for deciding on new sub-forums.

...or so decrees Mike.
By that logic, does that mean that residents of Fountain, Monument, Palmer Lake...etc. need to confine their own community-specific comments to the main CO page? How far away from COS proper must one live before being banished to the parent page?

If it's in El Paso County, it's in the COLO SPGS forum. Woodland Park is near enough to be included. Anything south or east of El Paso County goes in the statewide forum. BTW, I don't decree anything here, the owner does, those are his criteria.

You could start your own "What I don't like about Pueblo' thread, if you like.

You guys totally missed my point. I was talking about Colorado Springs downtown and how they can learn from what Pueblo and Denver has done. Cities should learn from other cities on right and wrong ways to develop. I went into more detail in my posts so go back and look to find the details.

BTW Woodland Park is in Teller county, that is still a separate county.

Only by about $20-$30. IMHO it's worth it. There's so much deferred maintenance on roads and bridges right now that it's likely causing way more than $30 worth of damage to our vehicles every year. I'd be happy to spend that money to keep our roads in better shape than they are today.

As long as we see some of the money spent down here in southern Colorado!

I agree with you Mike, you can't decree anything in here, so your stated 'rules' don't apply,
Okay, there's two separate disputes here:
1) Posting Pueblo-specific issues in this thread is inappropriate - I agree, since the thread is entitled - What I don't like about COS - not Pueblo
2) All Pueblo-specific issues should go onto the main CO page, not in the COS page. - I disagree with, since Pueblo does not have it's own page, and making up rules based on county lines (especially if there are arbitrary exceptions to those rules)
So let's all agree on this -- mentioning Pueblo in here is fine for the sake of comparison, but going off on Pueblo-specific tangents should be done on other threads. There is a Pueblo thread in the COS page which people have been using for such, and there's no reason they should not be allowed to continue until Pueblo gets its own page - if that ever happens. I've requested a new Pueblo section on the about Page.
