Question Lazy River...Tubing?

Is there a place around here to do a leisurely ride in an innertube? We went rafting on the Arkansas which was AWEsome....we would like a day of leisurely floating and swimming....anyone know of anything like this?

I live in Canon City where most of the rafting companies are. I know that some tube in town where the river is slower. It isn't recommended (it is very dangerous). My son did it once without my permission, and came back bruised!! Sheesh!! He's in Hawaii now and, dives with sharks,....it's always something, isn't it?!!
I'd try and find a lake or reservoir.....I'm a wimp though!

Look here: A leg of the Arkansas River from the Pueblo Reservoir Dam to the Pueblo Nature Center has all the ingredients for the perfect tubing expedition: wide, slow, (relatively) warm water, pretty scenery, and an easy car shuttle.
