Weekly rate ~ hotel/motel ~ discount rafting? (Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs: extended stay, coupons, rental)

Hi all, this board is an awesome place!! I didn't even know such a place existed! I'm going to find my local wichita board and participate, too. Not that many out of towners need Wichita info, anywaaaaay.

I used to come to the springs annualy as a child for vacation and am planning a spur of the moment week trip

I KNOW there are lots of hole in the wall (but not dirty) weekly rental motel places but can't seem to find them on yahoo, google, etc!! All of the expedia/travelocity/etc. seemed to have taken over.

Can anyone tell me of one that I can find for less than 250 a week?

ALSO, I tried craigslist and almost got taken for some "discount" rafting coupons!! I put a "WTB" ad for discounted rafting ad on the cosprings craigslist and someone contacted me trying to sell me some coupons for $50 gift certificates that she'd bought for $25 online that I was later told by the rafting company that were available to everyone in CO springs and are advertised on the radio, etc.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any good deals or discounts on that as well? We'd do half-day on the Bighorn for myself and kiddos.

The Crestwood Suites or Extended Stay America on Corporate Drive are OK...clean, cheap, no-frills fare. The Crestwood Suites is 719-534-9440, don't have a number for the other one. Crestwood was around $320/wk for a room with a kitchenette.

Here is a link to many good coupons....we just recently did the BigHorn using Echo Canyon company and LOVED it! I didn't have a coupon though

I wanna thank you all for your help, through the grapevine of these leads I found Downtown Express ~ 200 a week! TOTAL! and it's for two adjoining rooms!
