i saw your quote and i found that it depends if you go for natural or C-section. I think it's around $5,000 and C-section is $12,000++.

It is generally difficult to get insurance for maternity purposes after one is already pregnant, especially if one had no previous insurance. You could try, however; the worst they will say is "no".

You will def not qualify for medicare as it is for people 65+. If you have a job, you likely will not qualify for medicaid for low-income people.

You might check out the CU Health Science Center in Denver. They may offer low-cost pre-natal care, but you'd probably still have to pay full fee for the hospitalization. If you have a preemie that requires a lot of hospital care, you may eventually qualify for medicaid.

I think the suggestion to have the baby in England is a good one, as even an uncomplicated birth can set you back a good bit.
