Powdery? If it's very cold while it is snowing, we sometimes get those powdery snows. In March, we'll probably get those really wet snows- the kind of snows that bring down tree branches.

As stated previously, we don't know what the weather will bring in March. It could be a blizzard or we might have 70 degree weather. Welcome to Colorado.

If you find yourself driving in snow, as suggested previously, get behind someone with some sense and drive SLOWER than the posted speed limit and don't tailgate. There aren't any hills from Colorado Springs to Pueblo, so that's a plus! I don't mind going uphill in snow. I don't like going downhill so much.

I've lived in Colorado Springs for 51 years the snow falls we see these winters in the last 20 years are nothing compared to the way it was when I was growing up the last 15 or 20 winters have been laughersI think we are due for a big 1 I do love the snow I drive a cab and I love driving the cab in the snow.I would not put away your scrapers and shovels just quite yet if Mother Nature has her way we are going to be slammed.there is an old saying in Colorado winter comes in like a lamb and out like a lion our hardest snowfalls I've seen were in March and April

12/12 here - it has snowed on the Peak in July, even lower in June and August - but snow is on the rare side for those months. It is relatively common in May and September - i.e. doesn't happen in every year, but not shocking. Happens most years in April, and majority of years in October. Nearly all years the other months.
