We are moving to the Springs in March. We are considering staying in one of these condos for 6 months until we find a house. It's just my wife and I. Please leave comments abouts the place and the area. Thankyou

Default 600 to 800 a mth.

We are going to be opening a new location of our business there. So we have'nt committed to any particular area. We were intrested in those condos because it was a short term lease that would give us time to make those decisions such as our home and business locations. That's why I was intrested in that particular area. We just wanted to make sure we wern't moving to a dangerous part of town. From my research, I don't know if that even exist there?

The Satellite is on S. Academy. JMO, I wouldn't call that a good part of town. Depends on what you're looking for of course.

My preferences, in order: NorthWest (Rockrimmon/Mountain Shadows), Briargate (Northeast), Stetson Hills. If you have any questions, let me know!

That's right! I replied to that posting! Ok, I would go to the CSPD website, they will give you stats for that area. http://www.springsgov.com/SectionIndex.asp?SectionID=7 (broken link)
They also have a link there for the sex offender. That should give you some idea of that area. bashep

Ht there. I grew up in the Springs but live in nv now. I love it there.
lots of military and schools for everything you might want. I think every state has a listing for sex offinders. Call the police station and ask them how to do it. I hate the idea on what we have to do now. Guess its just how it is now. I want to retire and move back there. If there is any money left with our $$.
Good Luck I hope you love it there.

Those Condos are ancient - probably 30 years old or more. I always thought it was a hotel right out of the Jetsons when I was a kid - the architecture is very dated. There are some businesses inside the complex. I've never or rarely heard of a crime taking place in the Condos, but they are very close to Academy Blvd. - so it isn't a quiet part of town - lots of traffic, etc.

Don't do it. Being an ex-teacher of at-risk teens, a lot goes down at the place- parties, drugs, gangs...
