Is anyone familiar with any new housing developments that serve the Palmer Ridge High school area?

Thanks for your help

There are some new developments in Monument but I dont think they are near the new H.S. More off of Baptist Road by Lewis Palmer H.S. There are some great areas in there that might be close. Woodmoor, Kings Deer are a few names. Neat areas! There are some custom homes that are being built all around Monument. Great area!

Depends on what you are looking to spend. Their is a developement called Greenland Preserve up on Monument Hill. The builder is Masterbilt Homes, we live in a Masterbilt home in another developement. Would rebuild with them in a heartbeat. We are now friends with the owner, great guy. Just google Masterbilt Homes and you will find them.

We have friends who live in Red Rocks Ranch. It is very nice with large lots, but they are fighting to keep the gas drilling from happening in their backyards. It doesn't look like they will win. In 5 years you can possibly see up to 500 well sites in that area.

Yes- good point. That would be a bummer. Palmer Lake feeds into Palmer Ridge HS. But there are no "housing developments" just a normal neighborhood with a mixture of different types of houses.

True about Palmer Lake, although there is one small development of townhomes along 105, just south of town. I THINK (but I'm not certain) that the Jackson Creek development in Monument (on the west side of I25) feeds into Palmer Ridge HS as well.

I am pretty sure this shows the PRHS/LPHS boundary:
http://lewispalmer.org/media/EDocs/L...danceAreas.pdf

Interesting thing about PRHS, D38 asked the public for suggestions when coming up with a name. "Palmer Divide High School" was the number 1 suggestion (I suggested it myself). When D38 announce PRHS as the name I called and asked why the first choice as picked by the communty wasn't used. The response given to me by D38 was they didn't want to name a school from the negatively connotated weather location of Palmer Divide.

Excellent, Charles, thanks! Too bad I can't give you another rep point yet. Palmer Lake-specific info is not nearly as common or accurate on here as I'd like.
