Question Coming Soon To A Town Near You !!!

Hey, me, my wife, and kids are planning on moving to colorado soon; kind of our family dream, know what I mean???
Problem is: were to? We would like a place like Durango, you know medium town in the woods but I'm concerned about employment there.Figured would not hurt to move to the Springs area for a bit and get a better feel of Colorado. What do you guys say?? What would be a good spot to call home?
Please keep in mind we are the average middle class joes, nothing over $1200 a month as far as rent, good school district a must ,something in the mountains maybe 1/2 hour drive to the city.

We're paying under $1,200 for a 1,400 sf house with fenced yard 3/2.5 in school district 20 in the springs. You can definitely find something for that price range to rent here in a good area. Get yourself an agent or go to rentclicks.com....lots of properties to see....

Hey there-

Durango is beautiful! However very expensive. The 2 places that I can think of that would be comparable to that, here in the Springs. Is Woodland Park or Monument, not sure if rent will be in your price range, but would be worth a try! bashep

Default Woodland Park is your place!

Hello. Sounds like you are looking for a place like Woodland Park, CO. We are in the beautiful mountains (lots of trees) and only about 14 miles from Colorado Springs. You will be able to find plenty of homes up here to choose from in the rent range you were talking about. Your family will love it here. Look at my other posts - much more description. The City of Woodland Park does have a website. Just search for it on Google. Good luck on your adventure guys!
